A woman believed to have been Denis Voronenkov’s mistress has reportedly been identified after his killing in Kyiv.

This was reported by Starhit, citing an episode of the Russian talk show "Actually".

It was noted that in the studio with host Dmitriy Shepelev, a woman named Alexandra Avramenko appeared, claiming that she had been in a relationship with Voronenkov while he was married. The woman took a lie detector test and revealed details about their love affair.

According to her, the deceased did not hide his infidelity from his wife Mariya Maksakova and planned to move from Russia to the USA a year before his death.

Avramenko also noted that she allegedly met Voronenkov in Nizhniy Novgorod at an event. At that time, she was 18 years old, and she did not know his occupation or that he was married to Maksakova. She mentioned that Voronenkov gave her flowers and jewelry, and their relationship lasted about a month.

"Everyone was taking pictures with him. I just approached to take a photo. We got into a conversation, and he asked me for my phone number. I didn’t know he was married. We met in 2016 at the beginning of May, around the middle of the month," the woman said.

According to Avramenko, she learned who Voronenkov was from the internet, but she was not bothered by his marital status.

"I left my number, and he started calling and texting me. We first met in Nizhniy Novgorod at a restaurant and then went to a hotel. Later, he said he had a second phone number for us to communicate, and we exchanged numbers. After that, he came to see me in Moscow, and we met here. He would send drivers. I don’t know if it was a taxi or not; there were always different drivers," she explained.

Avramenko also claimed that Voronenkov lived with Maksakova for political status, without having feelings for his wife.

Experts in the talk show studio noted the truthfulness of the woman’s words and believed that she indeed had met with the deceased. However, he turned out to be not as generous as she would have liked. Interestingly, Avramenko was so possessive towards Maksakova that she even speculated that Maksakova might be involved in Voronenkov’s murder.
