Deadly anniversary for the Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces: State Register records death of General Chaiko’s son‑in‑law Daniil Peredriy after explosion at Balzi Rossi restaurant

Official confirmation has been received of the death of Daniil Peredriy, the son-in-law of Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces Alexander Chaiko. A note has appeared in state databases that his individual entrepreneur activity has been terminated due to death. The date of entry is August 5; the date of death is August 1.

Daniil and the general’s daughter Maria were among those who organized the banquet for the general’s 55th birthday. At the moment of the explosion, they were on the veranda together with young friends and sustained injuries. In particular, there was 20‑year‑old Evdokia, Maria’s cousin and witness at her wedding. All of them were hospitalized; Daniil succumbed to his injuries.

Many of Daniil’s own relatives were present at the event. His stepfather Ruslan Karve and his father Alexander Peredriy were the first to rush out to the veranda to the wounded; Alexander’s shirt was completely covered in blood.
